In addition to the School in the Woods library, the Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) Bookmobile visits regularly. Students can use an online book-holding and delivery system to request books from the PPLD library while at school. Those books will be delivered to the School in the Woods by the Bookmobile.
Students utilize their district-issued PowerPass library card to place holds on books with PPLD. Please note that student accounts are blocked when fees for damaged or lost materials reach $10, which prevents further checkouts of physical items. Parents and guardians are responsible for any fees on their student’s PowerPass account.
At the beginning of the school year, parents and guardians will be asked to complete a PPLD Bookmobile form to either grant or decline permission for their student to place holds on books while at School in the Woods.
