Tile Imprint Project at School in the Woods

Last week naturalists at SITW created imprinted tiles using natural elements. Each student made one tile that will stay at the school to be displayed for years to come, and one will be taken home as a keepsake from their time here! Wendy Iaconis, a long time parent volunteer, spends countless hours rolling & cutting the clay. She then assists naturalists in creating one of a kind designs and then takes them to her kiln and fires them! Next month students will wrap up the project by glazing them!
